Drupal… in Python

Drupy is a Python port of the Drupal content management system, which until now was only available in PHP.

Drupy is not yet production-ready, but the Drupy developers are working hard to put out a stable release. Python developers are strongly encouraged to contribute.

Current Status

In summary, the current Drupy status is:

• 85% of essential core includes ported
• Loadable module/plugin abilities
• system.module successfully ported
• Core hook "init" successfully executes
• drupytemplate/phptemplate successfully loaded
• Theme system 20% complete
